In the Making

"The team that puts it together really have a gem on their hands." - Outpost 10F

One of the primary objectives of this series is to consistently present readers with a "Star Trek story," rather than a story in space that's just labeled "Star Trek." Upon the Outward World explores themes of life and death, right and wrong, and the power of our Humanity, which are some of those themes associated with the best of what Trek has to offer. This issue is for my father, with whom I enjoyed many hours of Star Trek. He lived in today's world, but David exemplified all the best of Humanity as portrayed in the 23rd and 24th centuries of Star Trek. Here's to you, "Captain," wishing you clear horizons in the final frontier.
